The carcass of the female pup was found at the end of March just west of Alpine, Ariz. A preliminary exam failed to reveal an obvious cause of death, but a necropsy done at a federal forensic laboratory in Oregon determined the wolf had been shot.

It's sad, especially when so many people are still focused on saving other wolves/"wolves" that don't need protection anymore, like the gray wolf and the red "wolf." Will it take an extinction to get people to realize their mistakes? Who knows.WolvesOfTheSeas wrote:That truly sad thanks for shqring koa

The overall practice of hunting isn't as bad as people make it out to be. It helps to regulate the population of said animals, like wolves (in general, but hunting is certainly not needed for Mexican grays who are still attempting to recover.) deer, rabbits, and so on... so to put it in the way you described sheds it in a negative light. ^^; There's time when hunting is need and times when it is not needed. It is not a bad practice but can be bad if used when it isn't necessary.WolvesOfTheSeas wrote: OH NO! I cant stand when mammals go to extinction. These are gonna is going to be in big trouble. I agree with you, Koa. Animals with a high population are fine to hunt, but endangered wolves are not the things to be picking off. I do find it sad that it was just a pup, but deer and geese are okay to hunt.Koa wrote:The overall practice of hunting isn't as bad as people make it out to be.
