• • Guild Wars 2 is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by ArenaNet and published by NCsoft. Set in the fantasy world of Tyria, the game follows the re-emergence of Destiny's Edge, a disbanded guild dedicated to fighting the Elder Dragons, a Lovecraftian species that has seized control of Tyria in the time since the original Guild Wars. The game takes place in a persistent world with a story that progresses in instanced environments.
    
    Guild Wars 2 claims to be unique in the genre by featuring a storyline that is responsive to player actions, something which is common in single player role-playing games but rarely seen in multiplayer ones. A dynamic event system replaces traditional questing, utilising the ripple effect to allow players to approach quests in different ways as part of a persistent world. Also of note is the combat system, which aims to be more dynamic than its predecessor by promoting synergy between professions and using the environment as a weapon, as well as reducing the complexity of the Magic-style skill system of the original game.
    
    As a sequel to Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2 features the same lack of subscription fees that distinguished its predecessor from other commercially developed online games of the time, though a purchase is still required to install the game.

I adore this game, I have 2 level 80's at the moment, Ffeion my sylvari ranger, and Teindh (gif made by Fidd http://giant.gfycat.com/FlakyDetailedAruanas.gif )my charr elementalist.
Both characters are a year old but Teindh is my main.

I also have Coilleach Doire (Necromancer) and Zaina Poshfang (Mesmer), both are level 14, I do hope to get them to 80 at some point too.

Can't wait to make my Revenant. Must make them look as cool as possible. Probably a jungle Sylvari like the one in my dream. I'm so excited I'm pretty sure I could throw up.

I'm praying the expansion isn't going to be very expensive, though I kinda doubt that. Either way, I'll make sure to get it because I need it like badly ?? I'm so hyped I need to lie down.

Obviously many people are gonna want to try the Revenant, and I'm no exception. THOUGH the subclasses are just as exciting imo.

Watch. People try Revenant > hate it. Say it's a sucky class then run back to specializations for professions. I'm just waiting for the complaints because people won't know how to build them immediately. I'm excited to build them, myself.

I doubt it'll be THAT expensive. It's a lot of stuff, but if it was expensive, they'd probably need the money.

Either way, SUBCLASSES. Necromancers get to use Greatswords, Engineers get to use Hammers, Mesmers get to use Shields, Rangers get to use Staves... Wonder what's next?

GGGGGG I'll need so many new character slots 8'( Don't wanna delete more characters because I quite like the ones I have now.

I had to delete one that I literally never played: Zkell Corpselicker. Saving the slot for my Revenant. I have about 8 slots now I think...

How did I survive with so few???

It's hard deleting characters. Harder when you've spent actual money on them, too. (Total Makeover Kit, etc.)

Maybe try to get them to 80 first? I know Revenant is new, but I mean, still. Doesn't mean you'll like it. (Or maybe you will?? Who knows.) One thing I know is all lv80 professions get a chance to become specializations to make them stronger.

Psh, I still have 5 in total, and only 4 in use. Saving that one for Revenant, of course.

I'll most likely end up deleting my Asura though. I wanna get both my Sylvari Guardian as well as my Charr Engineer to 80, mhmm.
