Re: What types of genes would you like for your pack in wolfquest 3?

I haven't put much thought into that sort of thing, but I do know that I intend to cross a black wolf with any of the other gray pelts.

Re: Weathering Heights

I'm in love with these weather effects! My friends always laugh at me for wishing that it would rain more in WolfQuest, haha. These new effects are just lovely! The rain has come such a long way. I do hope that we'll at least get some light thunder sound-effects, if no lightning yet. The sound of th...

Re: How Much Time Do YOU Spend on WQ? (Poll)

I played lots a while ago... sometimes the whole day sometines "just" for hours. Now I haven't played at all... and probably wont until Wolfquest 3. I guess 2.7 just isn't enough for me anymore after seeing the dev blog videos. Same here. Haven't been playing much, recently. The current game just d...

Re: Music and Herd Names and Trees, Oh My!

I'm definitely in love with the light and airy sound of Ben Woolman's style. It's so serene!

The game footage looks so beautiful as well! Using Yellowstone Vegetation names as elk herd names was a good choice. I'm loving how this game is coming along.

Re: Looking for Trouble

I’m loving how the game is coming along, haha. If that’s the new brown wolf pelt, then I’m in love with it. It must be so frustrating to play through and find all of those bugs, haha.

Re: Defenders of Wildlife sends Oregon man air dancer to fend off wolves

A scarecrow of sorts for wolves, haha. Would that make it a “wolfcrow”? Jokes aside, that’s quite a neat alternative for protecting livestock. Not only is this rancher saving the lives of his cattle, but he’s saving the lives of these wolves. I hope that it works out and becomes a long-term defense ...

Re: Have you killed stranger wolves?

The game will play the dying animation for the wolf, but for the most part, from what I’ve seen, the carcass disappears after leaving the social arena. The stranger wolves do run (or submit) after a certain point. I found that if you submit, then attack again, there’s a chance you might get them if ...

Re: Pokémon

This is one of those games that’s really pushing me to buy a Switch. It looks promising so far! My friend and I were discussing the logos, and the seemingly European/UK themed region. We’re hoping that those wolves on the logos hint at some cool new wolf-legendaries.

Wow. What a trooper. While I’m expecting the Pronghorn to put up a fight, he just moves along despondently. Poor thing’s probably running out of gas. Remarkable footage!

Ahh, yes. A rare Spiderwolf forging within its native habitat. Just one of many within the Spiderverse.

Re: Hard Rock Ballet

Oh man, I love the sliding feature already. I can see myself pretending to sled by deliberately sliding down a slope when it’s snowy, haha. The extra addition of fall damage just adds that extra layer of danger and realism to the game! I’m loving how the game is progressing. So looking forward to th...

Re: what is the most dominant apex predator of Yellowstone?

If I could, I’d vote a balance of Grizzly Bears, Mountain Lions, and Wolves. I don’t think that there is any one apex predator. They all dominate the Yellowstone ecosystem according to their unique strengths and weaknesses. One could judge based off of physical prowess, prey diversity, or success at...

Re: The Californian mystery of the Shasta pack's disappearance

How curious. I do hope that they weren't killed illegally. I'd like to think that the lack of bodies and the pack's curious disappearance is due to their natural movement rather than the effect of a drastic event. With people fearing for their cattle, it does seem likely that they were probably kill...
