This is a topic all about the Culpeo. Culpeos are wild canids that live in South America. They are the second largest canid on the continent. I suppose I brought this topic up because Huskies look like wolves more than other dogs. It piqued my curiosity. I think the malamute looks more closely related, but I was watching something on animal planet that said the salukey is the oldest dog breed that was domesticated and still around today.

I don't think it'd be able to live by itself long because, well, (sorry in advance for using dogs as a example. xD) I've saw somewhere (I think animalplanet) that dogs with 'floppy' ears can't hear as well as dogs with pointy ears, So, they'd have a hard chance of survival because they wouldn't be ...

Yes, wolves and dogs can interbreed. As a matter of fact there is a litter of wolf dogs for sale in the town i live in.

This wolf is believed to be the oldest at 14 years old. I don't know if it's true for sure.
